• Indiviual user can logon to the webmail to access and check his/her emails and to send out emails.
  • From the Internet Explorer address/URL bar, key in “http://mail.<your.domain.name>” and press enter.
    (For example, if your domain is wmasia.net, your Webmail access address is “http://mail.wmasia.net”)
  • Enter your email address and password and click on ‘logon’.
  • From there, you will be able to check your mails and to send out mails.
  • Webmail works in such a way that you are accessing your mail account directly from the server.
  • Only Webmail access allows you to set some of the personal settings for your email account like changing password, setting of mail forwarding info, etc because webmail is accessing your email server directly and can reflect the changes to the server.
  • Once longon, you will be able to see a ‘Personal Account Options’ pull-down menu with a list of options

What a user with an Email Account can do

Forward Editing
If this option is enabled, you are allowed to edit the original message of the email that you want to forward out.

If this option is enabled, the attachments that are attached in the email that you want to forward out will be included.

Replying
This option allows you to choose if you want to include the original message or not when replying back to an email.

Reply Message
This option sets the format of the original message indicator. For example, if you set the format to b ‘>’, for the email that you replied back, the other party will see the original message with the indicator ‘>’ in front of every sentence, differentiating the original message from the replied message.

Save copy of outgoing mail in sent
If this option is enabled, users will be able to see the email that they send out in the “Sent” folder if the email is sent out successful.

This option allows you to select whether to open the IMail web calendaring in a new window or existing window.

Number of messages per page
This option allows you to determine how many messages / email you want to display on the screen per page for your mailbox.

Initial sort criteria
This option allows you to determine how you want to arrange your messages / emails to be sorted out according to ‘FROM’, ‘SUBJECT’, ‘DATE’, or ‘SIZE’.

From the above option, user can also determine whether is the sort criteria to be in order of ascending or descending.

This option allows you to determine if you want the full or the basic message headers to be displayed.

This option allows you to determine if you want the text attachments to be displayed as links or to be displayed together with the message texts.

This option allows you to determine where you want to position the menu buttons in the read message screen.

Show new messages for
This option allows you to determine if you want to be shown new messages for the main mailbox only or other mailboxes (including deleted, sent etc).

Message Preview
This option allows to choose if you want to enable the message preview. If enabled, users are able to preview their messages.

Delete messages
This option allows you to determine where you want the deleted message to go to. If ‘Purge Message’ is selected, the message will be deleted off from the mail server directly and you will not be able to view that message anymore. But if you select ‘Move to “Deleted” folder’, the deleted message will be moved to the “Deleted” folder and you still can view that message from that folder. You need to go to the “Deleted” folder to delete the message from the mail server.
Change my Signature This allows you to fix a format whereby all your outgoing email will have attached signature at the end of every messages. You must enable it under ‘Edit my Preferences’ option under “Include Signature”.
Change Finger Info This option allows you to set a format whereby a file containing the text that you keyed in will be sent as additional finger information if finger is enabled and is limited to 1000 characters.
Change Password This option allows you to change your email password.
Change Mail Forward Info This option allows you to forward any email coming in to another email address. If you wants to forward more than 1 email address, a ‘,’ is to be added at the end of each email address to differentiate the different email address.
Change User Info This option allows you to change your information such as your name, display name, address, reply address etc.
Change Vacation Message This option allows you to set the standard format message of maximum 1000 words. This message will be sent out to the user who sends an email to you automatically.
Change Processing Rules This function allows incoming mail to be directed to a specified mailbox or email address or to be deleted when the rule you specified is asserted.
Edit Address Book This option allows you to add, modify or delete email address in your address book.
Manage Mailboxes This option allows you to create, modify or delete mailboxes.  This mailboxes allow you to sort out your mails effectively. For example, deleted mails residing in deleted mailbox.
Edit Auto Response This option allows you to set the standard format message of maximum 1024 words. This message will be sent out to the user who sends an email to you automatically.
